Akhnoor, Jammu: In a significant step towards promoting family harmony and social justice, Dr. Sonia Verma, Managing Director/CEO of Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation (SGWF), successfully facilitated the resolution of three domestic violence cases in a single day at Police Station Akhnoor.
The cases had been pending before the police station and required careful counselling and mediation. Recognizing Dr. Verma’s experience in community welfare, women empowerment, and conflict resolution, the police authorities invited her to participate in discussions with the concerned families and assist in finding amicable solutions.
A series of counselling sessions and discussions were conducted throughout the day in the presence of both parties involved in the disputes. Dr. Verma patiently heard the grievances, concerns, and viewpoints of all individuals concerned and emphasized the importance of mutual respect, understanding, communication, and peaceful coexistence within families.
After extensive deliberations and constructive dialogue, all three cases were successfully resolved to the satisfaction of the parties involved. The families agreed to settle their differences amicably and work towards rebuilding trust and harmony in their relationships.
